PRIORITY HIGHLIGHT // LIVE
01 // Raffles Jakarta University Module
FULL UNIVERSITY MODULE · AI ACADEMIC GOVERNANCE
A complete university module with AI embedded into academic governance, the flagship education build. It runs quality oversight inside the module, not in spreadsheets.
FEATURED SYSTEM // TEST PHASE 1
02 // Kalasan Baby ERP
FULL ERP · AGENTIC AI · INVENTORY & PRODUCTION
A full ERP enhanced with agentic AI. The current test phase connects operational workflows from purchase orders through inventory and production, with a user-facing training layer built for real teams.
A custom selling agent platform for BahanaLink, built for ASABRI so armed forces personnel could channel part of their pension savings into mutual funds. Identity verification runs through Dukcapil, funds stay with a custodian bank, and the system itself never touches investor money.
Commissioned by PT Bahana TCW: what started as interface design grew into an end-to-end mutual-fund platform. Investment planning, portfolio monitoring and online transactions, shipped as BahanaLink. The hard part was making regulated financial steps feel like one journey a customer could actually follow.
A local-first, web-aware AI system built around continuity instead of isolated prompts. Magnus combines persistent context, model routing, tools, files, vision, and the web so an LLM can operate more like an adaptive collaborator.
An experiment in making constrained models navigate information better: a roughly 30k-context model reasoned across a ~100k-token codebase by retrieving what mattered instead of loading everything at once.
07 // S.A.G.E.[Alpha]
EDTECH · ACADEMIC GOVERNANCE · AI
System for Academic Governance and Evaluation: an AI-powered quality-assurance engine that compares teaching materials with module requirements, identifies alignment gaps, and produces actionable recommendations.
Took a WhatsApp-based booking flow and mapped it into a phased platform: venues, scheduling, sessions, waiting lists, payments and reminders. The Web3 layer, tokenised rewards and gamified profiles, was deliberately kept separate from the viable booking core until it earns its place.
09 // Rupa Motif
CULTURAL VISUAL SYSTEMS · SARINAH X RAFFLES · 2026
Pattern research for Merdeka di Sarinah: motifs from Sumatra, Makassar, Sumba and Flores redrawn as seamless contemporary systems for fabric, lightbox and floor. Heritage treated as a living visual system, not a decorative archive.
10 // Layang-Layang Nusantara
PUBLIC ACTIVATION · SARINAH X RAFFLES · 2026
Kites as both cultural object and social interface for Sarinah: suspended installations, windows, photo points and painting workshops that got visitors making, moving through and talking about the work. Heritage as participation, not static display.
11 // Scaena[2026]
SPATIAL + AUGMENTED EXPERIENCE · INSTALLATION + BROWSER AR
A star-shaped gateway and layered archway taken from elevation and fabrication drawings into a browser-based AR layer. The physical object gives scale and orientation, the digital adds motion. One experience designed across material, screen and camera.
12 // FIFGROUPFEST[FIFGROUP]
IMMERSIVE DIGITAL EXPERIENCE · VIRTUAL VENUE
A multi-brand exhibition translated into an explorable virtual venue: branded pavilions, information surfaces and social zones composed as one navigable space. Spatial hierarchy becomes navigation, typography becomes wayfinding, and the interaction stays understandable across devices.
INTEGRATED PUBLISHING · PRINT + WEB + MOBILE · 2015
An annual report conceived as one connected publication across print, responsive web and mobile, not a PDF dumped online. Three concepts carried sustainability, growth and human-centred energy through navigation, data and leadership messages. Design the information system first, then let each medium express it.
14 // Nadea + Habanera[Typefaces]
TYPE DESIGN · HUMANIST SANS + SLAB · 2011
Experiments in how one consistent skeleton carries different voices through proportion, terminals and stroke logic. Documented in Luc Devroye's type design archive at McGill. Tiny decisions accumulate into tone and rhythm, the same lesson that now runs through my interface and AI work.
SERVICE + PRODUCT DESIGN · PHYSICAL-TO-DIGITAL · 2007
Cloud storage for paper before cloud was ordinary: customers mailed documents in prepaid envelopes or uploaded files, and the service digitised, stored and made them searchable. I built the end-to-end product experience, service logic, interface, identity and icon language. The company later became OfficeDrop.
REMOTE OPERATIONS · WEB SYSTEM + SERVICE DESIGN · 2008
An early remote B2B appointment-setting operation built around distributed US agents, with a founding mission of stable remote work for military spouses. I designed the web system and service layer: client enquiries, agent recruitment, one coherent journey. Later became SalesRoads.
A compact Qwen3.5 variant configured for fast, direct output without visible thinking traces built for coding, chat, RAG, tools, and lightweight local agents.

Architecting Behavioural AI & Scalable Systems
A system architect, full-stack engineer, designer, and educator who builds systems that remove friction between humans and machines, turning context into action and ideas into working implementations. His work spans enterprise platforms, contextual and agentic AI, Web3, immersive technology, and web/mobile products.
Alongside building, he teaches and mentors across Asia, bridging software engineering, intelligent systems, and real-world execution. He also develops scripted experiences and digital objects for virtual worlds, and is recognized for his work in typography ↗.
Magnus is his ongoing experiment in moving AI beyond one-shot prompts toward adaptive collaborators that maintain continuity across tools, conversations, workflows, and environments.
philosophy.txt
I build things that work, not things that demo well. The philosophy is boring on purpose: understand the actual problem before touching a keyboard, pick the simplest tool that survives contact with real users, then ship. No framework worship, no feature bloat, and no tech picked because it looks good in a pitch deck.
Most days that means PHP and vanilla JS lifting weight other stacks need a framework to carry. Some days it means wiring a local LLM into a terminal because a cloud API felt like overkill. The tech follows the problem, never the reverse.
Whatever comes out the other end should remove friction, not add a fancier kind of it. If a system needs a manual to explain its own dashboard, it already failed.
Working With Me
You get me, start to finish. No account managers, no discovery-phase theatre. Scope gets written in plain language, progress shows up early and often, and problems get flagged the second they appear instead of hiding until launch day.
Startup, faculty, solo founder, doesn't matter. The deal stays the same: say what we're building, then actually build it. And when something breaks, I fix it first and explain after.
Most clients stick around after the invoice clears. Not luck. That's the model.
Teaches across digital media, AI, and ICT: full-stack engineering, web/mobile applications, databases, software modelling, system architecture, APIs, machine learning, computer vision, LLMs, VR/AR, A-Frame, and WebXR. Mentors projects from concept and architecture through deployment and presentation.
